We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Delivery Administrator to support our supply chain warehouse operations. This role is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and documenting the delivery and deployment of IT equipment, software, and systems critical to daily warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT logistics, asset management, and basic technical troubleshooting in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery, installation, and support of IT equipment (e.g., handheld scanners, printers, terminals, PC’s, wireless access, switches, servers, etc.)
- Track IT hardware inventory and maintain accurate asset records, including asset tagging, auditing, and lifecycle status.
- Serve as a point of contact between IT and warehouse operations teams for delivery-related issues.
- Ensures that all associates are trained on any new processes.
- Support basic tier 1 & 2 troubleshooting and escalate technical issues to the appropriate IT support teams.
- Maintain delivery logs and documentation, ensuring proper handover and sign-off process.
- Provide reporting on IT asset movements and delivery performance metrics.
- Support onboarding of new users with IT equipment and system access where required.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or certifications in IT, Logistics, or related fields preferred. Verbal and written communication skills. Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to operate warehouse equipment and work independently. Experience working in similar roles in manufacturing, transportation or warehouse setting. Team player/detailed oriented. Ability to perform physically intensive labor including the associate is regularly required to talk; hear; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; reach with hands and arms; be able to lift up-to 50 pounds, walk for periods of time and stand for periods of time. You must be able to perform duties in a warehouse environment while working closely with others, working well in busy conditions which may be noisy at times. Ability to take direction and work in accordance to set standards of performance and safety.
Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. 1-4 years of experience in IT support. Familiarity with IT hardware used in warehouse environments (e.g., Zebra scanners, Zebra printers, RF devices, PC’s) Basic to intermediate understanding of IT systems and troubleshooting.
