POSITION PURPOSE
CFS Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Strategic Procurement Manager to join our supply chain team. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and long-term agreements, driving regional sourcing initiatives, and consolidating vendors to maximize cost savings and operational efficiency. The Procurement Manager will collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, and finance teams to ensure that procurement activities support business objectives and align with company standards.

- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and long-term agreements.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize supply base, focusing on regional and cost-effective sourcing solutions.
- Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation and manage supplier rationalization projects.
- Monitor market trends, raw material costs, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing strategies.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, support production planning, and ensure material availability.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize ERP systems to manage purchase orders, track inventory, and analyze procurement data.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives and contribute to annual budget and cost-savings goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent computer skills: Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong experience with ERP systems (preference for Acumatica experience).
- Proven track record of successful price negotiation and long-term supplier agreements.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain principles, purchasing best practices, and contract management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs.
- Must be able to walk, talk, sit, stand, and communicate continuously throughout an 8—10-hour period.
- Long periods of sitting & working at a computer.
