GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Sales Associate-SEAL (Sales Excellence and Leadership Mentorship Program) is an introductory sales role to the private money lending industry. The SEAL program at CV3 offers a dynamic training to high potential and career driven sales professionals. The Sales Associate will complete a 12-week program that includes training and mentoring, with the end goal of graduating. The main responsibility of this role is to complete required classes, examinations, and tollgates to graduate and promote to an Account Executive. Learning all facets of mortgage lending, private money lending, real estate investment and CV3 product offerings and process flow. While learning CV3 operations, the Sales Associate will simultaneously have hands-on experience as they shadow and provide support to a tenured Account Executive. 


It is important to note that you will be expected to be present at the CV3 Headquarters in El Segundo, CA, for the duration of the 12-week program.


 In this position, you will: 

  • Attend classes and self-study to learn about the industry and CV3.
  • Pass all required examinations towards graduation into the Account Executive role.
  • Able to work cooperatively with teammates for group exercises, presentations, and projects.
  • Complete mock sales scenarios and test cases in CV3’s operating system to fully simulate an Account Executive’s role.
  • Demonstrates knowledge on midterm and final exam presentations. 
  • Successfully completes SEAL training and mentorship period.
  • Works cooperatively with teammates for group exercises, presentations, and projects.
  • This position may involve handling confidential and sensitive information as part of its daily responsibilities. Employees are expected to exercise discretion and protect all sensitive data, including but not limited to personal information, loan details, business and financial records, and proprietary materials.

Requirements

Successful candidates will possess: 

  • High school or GED required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience or college courses in the mortgage (real estate) industry preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge and use of MS Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook), imaging system and internet.
  • Experience working with a LOS is a plus.
