JOB SUMMARY
Transports clients between pick-up and delivery locations. Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision, and values.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Safely transport clients between pick-up and delivery locations.
- Maintain daily transportation log.
- Inspect vehicle daily and report any issues to supervisor.
- Embody the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision, and values:
- Perform other related duties as required or requested.
- Program responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reports to work routinely and timely; if unable to report to work, or if there is a need to come to work late or leave early, follow Vista Care’s approval policy.
- Complete required, on-going training requirements and competency levels within Vista Care and State/County required timeframes.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Safe CDL Driving
- Reliability
Requirements
- Graduation from High School, or equivalency, is required.
- Must possess valid Illinois CDL driver’s license (or the ability to get one) and be deemed an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy.
- Previous experience in client transportation or healthcare-related driving preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively during work hours.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

PAY:
- $20.00 hourly
