ECHO Incorporated is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Group Leader with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This position is responsible for the accurate and efficient day-to-day operations of the LTL, FTL, and Container Shipment area. The Warehouse Group Leader ensures the safe, compliant, and timely shipment of finished goods and hazardous materials, utilizing forklifts, stand-up lift trucks, and other material handling equipment. Additionally, this role maintains warehouse equipment and supply levels to support all packing and shipping operations.

2nd Shift M-F 2:30pm-11:00pm starting at $18.50/HR + $1 SD = $19.50/HR! This position also qualifies for a yearly bonus!

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy of packed and palletized products for shipment.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
  • Properly document all shipments and maintain accurate records.
  • Apply effective communication and motivational techniques in leading, training, coaching, and disciplining employees.
  • Assist in planning daily work and manpower to support shift activities and meet schedule requirements.
  • Collaborate with other Distribution Center Leaders and Supervisors to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Partner with supervisor to identify root causes of quality defects and recommend process improvements.
  • Complete all required records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work with supervisor to create, update, and monitor daily and weekly metrics for the LTL, FTL, and Container Shipping team.

Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of three years of distribution experience.

  • Excellent math and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management.

  • Forklift certification required.
