Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? CS Energy is seeking a dynamic Reporting Specialist to join our Brisbane based Works Management team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of our operational intelligence, supporting the Permit to Work (WCM) and Work Management systems. You’ll help drive continuous improvement, enhance reporting accuracy, and empower decision-makers across the business with timely, meaningful data.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc dashboards and reports across Permit to Work (WCM), J5, SAP and other work management systems.
- Lead data analysis to uncover trends and insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Prepare and consolidate high-quality reports for internal stakeholders and board-level presentations.
- Collaborate with the Work Management Manager to ensure reporting aligns with compliance and business needs.
- Support system audits with accurate data extracts and reporting.
- Continuously improve reporting tools and documentation to ensure data integrity and usability.
- Deliver training and user support for reporting systems and processes.
- Partner with Digital & Technology teams and vendors to resolve data issues and implement enhancements.
- Assist in rolling out new reporting processes, metrics, and documentation updates.

- Mechanical or electrical trade qualifications are preferred.
- Proven Experience in heavy engineering industry, preferably in thermal power stations.
- Experience in data analysis and problem solving.
- Experience in the interpretation of data and communication at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in report creation and automation, including the use of PowerBI and/or other systems to display insights in dashboards or reports (desired).
- Experience and understanding of PTW systems, work management systems or other similar systems (desired).
- Experience in delivery of system training.
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships and influence others.
- Ability to learn new systems and provide training and other support.
- Attention to detail is essential, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reports.
