Scribendi is seeking a Senior Growth Marketing Specialist to join our team at an exciting inflection point. While we continue to serve thousands of researchers through our core editing services, we're proactively expanding into next-generation academic support solutions that meet the evolving needs of our market. This role is critical to managing both sides of that equation: optimizing the established business while building momentum for new initiatives. You'll work across mature channels and emerging opportunities, adapting strategies to different business maturity stages. This dual mandate requires strategic flexibility and comfort with both optimization and experimentation.
If you're both a strategic thinker and a hands-on experimenter, with curiosity, creativity, and a passion for turning insights into results, we want to hear from you.
This role is being offered as hybrid and fully remote, with our head office located in Chatham, ON.
What You Will Do
- Lead multi-channel campaigns (e.g., SEO, SEM, paid media, social, email) to acquire and convert new customers.
- Design and launch lifecycle campaigns that boost retention, reduce churn, and increase engagement.
- Build and execute demand generation programs for new products, developing strategies to reach target audiences and optimize end-to-end customer journeys.
- Manage a pipeline of A/B and multivariate tests, applying insights to scale winning strategies across both mature and emerging channels.
- Maintain analytics and attribution systems, and report results and budget recommendations.
- Optimize landing pages, emails, and user flows.
- Allocate and track marketing spend across channels to maximize ROI.
- Map and refine customer journeys, including lead generation and pipeline development.
- Work cross-functionally and coordinate with external agencies to execute campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, data analytics, or a related field
- 7–10 years in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing roles with a track record of hitting growth targets and ROI-driven results
- Strong experience with SEO, SEM, paid social, email, and conversion optimization, covering both acquisition and retention initiatives
- Expertise in marketing analytics, attribution modeling, and data-driven decision-making
- Proficient in a variety of analytics and automation platforms and tools (e.g., G4A, HubSpot, SEMrush)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong initiative
- Able to translate complex analytics into actionable insights and realistic deliverable timelines
- Located and authorized to work in Canada
