Bulletin 2530 Long Term Substitute School Psychologist at Braintree High School presso Braintree Public Schools

The Braintree Public Schools seeks a long-term substitute School Psychologist to provide services at Braintree High School from early February through the end of the school year in June.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing a full range of psychological assessments, in accordance with state and federal regulations, as part of the Special Education eligibility/service determination process for initial and re-evaluations.
• Writing comprehensive evaluation reports in accordance with federal and state mandates.
• Presenting findings and recommendations from psychological assessments as a member of the building’s multidisciplinary team.
• Analyzing, interpreting, and presenting psychological data and reports from outside
• agencies.
• Collaborating with teams on data-based decision making.
• Participating as a member of building-based support teams to identify at-risk students, assess student needs, and recommend research-based interventions and supports for students who receive general and/or special education services.
• Providing crisis prevention and intervention services.
• Providing individual and group counseling as needed.
• Consulting with parents and school teams on student behavior and mental health issues
• Effectively communicating with parents about student progress.
• Performing other responsibilities as deemed appropriate and assigned by a supervisor and/or designee.
