Job Description:🚀 The Job Mission
As a Welding Supervisor, you’ll play a key role within one of our Nuclear construction projects. Your future team ensures welding excellence across major nuclear construction activities, maintaining world-class quality and safety standards.
Key Missions:
⚡️ Liaise with Contract Partners and stakeholders to plan and resource welding activities.
⚡️ Ensure welders and procedures meet all qualification and regulatory standards.
⚡️ Maintain welding environments that minimise defects and ensure consistent quality.
⚡️ Promote best practice and continuous improvement in welding processes.
⚡️ Enforce essential safety and quality requirements at all times.
⚡️ Support Contract Partners in resolving on-site challenges.
⚡️ Compile welding statistics to support quality improvement programmes.
⚡️ Lead by example to promote collaboration and technical excellence.
Essential Skills:
🛠 Expert Welding Engineer with proven leadership on large-scale projects
🛠 Strong experience in welding and erection within complex industrial settings
🛠 Understanding of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
🛠 Excellent organisational, reporting, and communication abilities
🛠 Ability to lead and influence teams toward high performance
🛠 Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
Desired Skills:
✔️ Degree, HND, or NVQ Level 4 in Mechanical or Materials discipline
✔️ Background as a welder or mechanical craftsman
✔️ Experience in the nuclear or similarly regulated industry
✔️ Ability to identify and mentor teams of skilled craftsmen
