What makes this role important at Ipsos?
In this role you will be the face of Ipsos for a major global CPG company, focused on maintaining and growing a current flagship program as well as the overall relationship. You will primarily focus on:
- Understanding the clients’ strategy and challenges
- Building short-term and long-term strategic account plans for growth
- Building and nurturing relationships with client stakeholders
- Overseeing high quality program delivery
- Collaborate with the client and potentially other Agencies on thought leadership
- Retaining and expanding existing programs
- Understand multi-dimensional data (Data cubes, Hieratical data), analyzing data sets to guide and inform client business decisions
What you can expect to be doing:
Driving Growth:
- ADD Bringing and applying a client-first mindset to the way we service, deliver, and collaborate with our client partners.
- Build, maintain, and deliver on a strategic account plan formulated in collaboration with internal partners and Ipsos MSU leadership.
- Listen for opportunities to expand the existing program and act on them. If a solution does not exist within our area of expertise, connect with other teams within Ipsos to identify ways to address Client needs.
- Proactively use insights to identify areas for additional programs or projects, using the flagship program to act as a foundation that we can grow from.
- Design methodologies and approaches and provide proposals for additional work requested by the client and for renewal of the program
Program management:
- Be the Senior program owner. Lead strategic conversations with the client while also providing guidance to the team on how to deliver.
- Answer client questions, give recommendations, investigate potential issues
- Ensure ongoing delivery that meets clients’ expectations on quality and timing
- Ensure day-to-day management of the program and coordinate with teams across multiple countries and Service lines within Ipsos.
- Coordinate with other agencies where the client has involved them.
- Manage internal communication to senior leadership
Handles more complex conversations/communications around project design, analysis, and unexpected challenges. Financial management:
- Manage internal budgets for different departments and countries
- Manage purchase orders, statements of work for the programs, and billing
Analytic Partner:
- Aligning on key KPI’s with the client and in cooperation with the client develop a plan for how to communicate importance, and ways to use the KPI’s in end user decision making.
- This alignment may include definitions, calculations, statistical analysis, etc.
- Answer or find answers to statistical questions
- At times use analytical tools available (Excel, SPSS, Python, etc.) to provide quick answers to hypothesis discussed with the client prior to making updates to systems
Building Long-term Partnerships:
- Creates strong connections with clients to develop long-term relationships
- Understands the sector, context, and strategic growth questions the client faces
- Recognizes how clients make decisions and how Ipsos can support them
- Develop new ideas, thought leadership, and innovative ways of answering clients’ business questions
This might be the job for you if you have:
- CPG/FMCG/research experience (10+ years): Agency side experience required; client-side also beneficial.
- A track Record of building strong relationships: work with clients and internal colleagues in a respectful and transparent manner; ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment
- Impactful communication and presentation skills: understand the audience and effectively conveys Ipsos’ findings and POV’s
- Negotiation Skills: effectively balances Ipsos’ financial position/pricing relative to the client’s budget and overall business relationship
- Analytic Storytelling Strength: communicate and translate technical/abstract concepts in a client-friendly way
- Advisory / Strategic Thinking and Insight Experience: understand how clients make decisions and how we can help them to achieve their growth ambitions
- Experience in Internal and External Stakeholder Management: engages and communicates with internal and external partners using the appropriate channel and in the appropriate timeframe
- A balance of attention to detail with view to bigger picture and overall objectives of each task
- Superior organizational skills, including ability to manage and delegate work effectively, attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to accuracy and completeness of information
- A strong aptitude for research consulting with highly developed analytic skills
- The ability to think strategically in terms of clients’ business, as well as opportunities for Ipsos to grow its business
- A highly motivated, self –directed personality where you thrive working within tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills are necessary

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
