Will help fuel our IZEA’s business by keeping the numbers sharp and the operations seamless. You will dive into daily accounting tasks, manage payables and receivables, and bring precision to every reconciliation and close. If you love turning details into impact and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this role is your next big move.

Your responsibilities and contributions will drive value

  • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments in accordance with company policy

  • Manage customer invoicing, collections, and application of cash receipts

  • Maintain and reconcile subsidiary ledgers (A/R, A/P, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, etc.)

  • Assist with preparing journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month-end and year-end close process

  • Support internal control procedures and help identify opportunities to streamline workflows

  • Provide general accounting support, including data entry, document management, and audit preparation

Your background and experience will lead to success

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • 2+ years relevant work experience, preferably with exposure to both AR and AP

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and the ability to apply it confidently in day-to-day work

  • Excellent technical research skills and a solid foundation in accounting principles

  • Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus. We love when you already speak our systems' language

  • Advanced Excel skills are a must—you know your way around pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis. You’re also comfortable with the full MS Office suite and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)

  • Sharp analytical thinker with a knack for solving problems and spotting trends

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you’re collaborative, curious, and confident working across teams

The salary range for this role is $65,000 – $85,000, based on your overall knowledge, skills and abilities aligned to the role. This range is subject to change.
