Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for staffing, training, and retention of warehouse personnel. Additionally, he/ she is accountable for inventory control and maintenance of the physical plant and its equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Leads, supervises, and directs the warehouse operations to ensure efficient operation.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the warehouse is staffed with qualified, well-trained employees.
 - Provides direction, leadership and supervision for warehouse staff.
 - Schedules workforce to ensure efficient operation in support of sales and delivery function.
 - Ensure that all warehouse personnel are trained in the required job functions, and they conduct job functions in a safe and responsible manner.
 - Work closely with shift supervisors to ensure all shifts are working in concert with each other according to the established guidelines.
 - Conducts progressive disciplines as needed.
 - Responsible for inventory control. Administers and participate in the daily warehouse physical inventory process.
 - Responsible for management, reduction, repairs, and tracking of warehouse breakage.
 - Responsible for ensuring that dunnage is managed and returned according to prescribed manner.
 - Ensures that product receiving is done to eliminate the risk of product shortage through spot checks, bill of lading accountability, and the impact of information into the inventory control system.
 - Accountable for Vertique operation and maintenance through personal system knowledge and comprehensive training program.
 - Accountable for the maintenance and physical appearance of the warehouse to include daily cleaning and repairs.
 - Responsible for product rotation, first in/ first out, Administers and conducts code date inventory weekly and reports results to Director of Operations.
 - Cultivate and maintain open lines of communication with all departments to ensure successful total company operation.
 - Load and unload products accurately/safely from trucks and reload cooperage and dunnage items.
 - Report on all damaged products to your manager.
 - Adheres to strict safe working practices, Company Policies, and OSHA forklift operational guidelines while operating company equipment.
 - Must be punctual and adhere to the company dress code for Warehouse Manager.
 - Maintain knowledge of Faust Distributing’s portfolio of Brands and Packages.
 - Practice “Safety Always” by adhering to safe working practices, Company policies, rules, and regulations.
 - Report all accidents and/or on-the-job injuries to your manager, a member of management, or Human Resources in accordance with the protocol listed in the Faust Employee handbook.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
 - Five years of previous Warehouse Manager experience is preferred.
 
Physical Requirements:
- Strength to lift, load, push, and pull cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
 - Manual dexterity to operate a dolly, six-wheeler cart, and a powered/manual pallet jack.
 - The ability to safely operate power jacks and forklifts numerous times each day.
 - Ability to consistently bend, reach, and squat while moving and stocking products for up to 12 hours daily.
 - Stamina to continuously stand and walk up to 12 hours a day.
 - Ability to work while exposed to indoor and outdoor weather conditions including high and low temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet, and snow.
 - Ability to work while exposed to daylight, twilight, evening, and dark lighting conditions.
