Location: Franklin, IN

Pay & Schedule: $20 – $25/hour | Full-Time

About the Role:

As a Carpenter at Ace Handyman Services, you’ll be part of a professional team dedicated to top-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. You’ll work across a variety of residential and light commercial projects—handling repairs, installations, and maintenance with precision and care. This is a hands-on role where your diverse skill set and attention to detail will shine.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Construct, repair, and install structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and drywall.
• Handle multiple trades such as light plumbing, painting, and tile work.
• Visit client homes or worksites to assess repair needs and perform tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with the team and ensure projects are completed on time and up to Ace’s quality standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers, providing excellent service and clear project updates.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 10+ years of carpentry or related hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in seven or more trades (e.g., drywall, flooring, basic electrical, tiling, etc.).
• Must reside within 30 minutes of Monument Circle.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Customer service experience to enhance client interactions.
• Experience performing 12 or more trades.
• Multilingual ability to better serve a diverse clientele.
• Commercial repair and maintenance experience for wider project scope.
