Legal Administrative Assistant presso Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., a multi-office national law firm, is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Miami office. This is a full-time, in-office, entry-level position ideal for someone looking to begin a career in the legal field. No prior experience or college degree is required - just a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and solid written communication.

About the Role:

This role provides critical administrative support to legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys across the litigation team. It is a highly collaborative and hands-on opportunity for someone eager to gain exposure to a wide range of legal support functions in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with intaking new case files and organizing documentation
• Draft basic client letters, correspondence to judges, and letters to experts
• Prepare trial and expert binders and other materials for court
• Draft and send subpoenas and follow up on outstanding records
• Organize and compile medical records and billing statements
• Help with scheduling, billing entries, and appointment coordination
• Process incoming mail and distribute to appropriate parties
• Provide general administrative support to the broader litigation team

Qualifications:

• No prior legal experience required
• Must possess strong grammar and English writing skills
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Comfortable using standard office technology (scanners, printers, etc.)
• Professional, team-oriented, and proactive attitude 

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $15.00 – $18.00, commensurate with experience
• Full-time, Monday–Friday, in-office position
