The Finance Analyst Senior is part of the GSC North America Planning and Reporting team and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting including flash, forecast, and the annual budget for GSC manufacturing and distribution sites.

Responsibilities

  • Generate accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting and analysis
  • Prepare and publish monthly financial reporting packages to GSC executive and field management
  • Maintain the integrity of the division’s operating results key reports
  • Perform annual variable cost allocation to business units, and fixed allocation accounting and tracking
  • Participate in developing the annual operating plan and budget process
  • Execute strategies to improve the division’s reporting of global operations
  • Drive continuous improvement by providing innovative feedback, suggesting projects, and employing transactional lean tools to improve upon our reporting structure and processes.  
  • Assist supervisor in coordinating tasks within the department to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:  
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or have at least four (4) years of work experience in finance or accounting
  • Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in finance or accounting
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or business
  • Have prior work experience using Enterprise Performance Management (“EPM”) software
  • Have prior work experience financial forecasting 
  • Have prior work experience preparing an annual budget
  • Have prior work experience with standard cost development and methodology
  • Have prior work experience using Oracle (R12 or 11i), QAD, Product Vision, AOM, Monarch, or SAP BusinessObjects
