Lead Working Supervisor presso Thompson Health

Schedule: Full time - Days, weekend availability needed 

Main Function:  

• Performs a variety of Laundry and Linen task in all areas to maintain a sanitary, pleasant, and safe environment for patients, residents, visitors, and associates.
• Demonstrates skill in cleaning, sorting, and disinfecting a variety of linens used for patient/resident care and treatment.
• Is knowledgeable of procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, infection control, and safety.
• Is able to work with minimal supervision.
• Is able to organize linen duties and prioritize work to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
• Maintains collaborative working relationships with nursing and other departments. Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system.
• Must comply with all requirements for infection control, safety, and cleanliness as mandated by JCAHO, OSHA, DOH, and other regulatory agencies.
• Support in-service training, train all new associates, fill-in as needed as Supervisor.
• Assures that high standards of linen cleanliness and efficiency are maintained per OSHA, DOH, and JCAHO standards.
• Master understanding and knowledge of supply ordering, productivity monitoring, billing and par level management.

Education and Experience: 

• Prefer 1 to 2 years of relative work experience.
• Prefer experience as a supervisor.
• Prefer high school diploma or GED.

Pay Range: $17.85 - $19.95

Starting Range: Based on Experience
