At ACNB Bank, we're looking for a Customer Contact Center Specialist, in Gettysburg, PA, who combines a friendly voice with technical savvy to provide best-in-class service. Your work will directly support the Bank’s customer experience, sales growth, and service reputation.

What Sets You Up for Success

  • A courteous, professional, and confident phone presence that customers trust.
  • Professional written communications skills when interacting via Chat or Secure Messages.
  • The ability to stay focused and calm during challenging customer interactions.
  • Solid computer skills: You can comfortably navigate between multiple open programs, web apps, and internal systems to find and relay answers. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Experience in a Call Center or Branch Banking is preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital banking products and a knack for learning new systems quickly.
  • Education:   A high school diploma or equivalent is required; education beyond that, especially in business, is a strong plus.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule to meet the hours of operation.

What You'll Do and What Success Looks Like

In your first 6 to 12 months, you’ll:

  • Be the Voice of ACNB Bank — Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls along with Chat interactions with professionalism and empathy, achieving a satisfaction score that reflects your commitment to service excellence.
  • Calm Under Pressure — Step up during high-pressure or escalated calls, resolving issues involving online banking, debit cards, bill payment, and more—while using a tone of voice that will put the customer’s concerns at ease.
  • Multitask Like a Pro — Manage multiple applications, tabs, and systems while simultaneously researching and communicating accurate information to customers.
  • Open Accounts & Process Requests — Confidently complete account maintenance, online deposit account openings, and loan inquiries received through digital or phone channels.
  • Refer with Intention — Listen for sales opportunities and refer customers to the right departments—such as mortgage, business banking, or wealth management—helping grow our customer relationships.
  • Meet & Exceed Key Metrics — Achieve contact center goals like call handling speed, referral counts, call resolution, and minimal transfers or dropped calls.
