REGIONAL MANAGER (Affordable Housing) presso Full Circle Communities

Location: Detroit/Kalamazoo/Portage, Michigan
Salary $90,000–$100,000, based on experience

Full Circle Communities is seeking a Michigan-based Regional Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of affordable housing communities. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Property Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for up to six affordable housing communities.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and support site staff; address performance issues and conduct terminations as necessary.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor ongoing financial performance.
• Plan and manage capital projects, including both scheduled and emergency repairs.
• Ensure strict compliance with HUD, Section 42, HOME, and other regulatory or financing program requirements.
• Foster exceptional customer service standards across all communities.
• Direct marketing and leasing efforts to minimize vacancies and maximize occupancy.
• Collaborate with the resident services team to ensure services are appropriate and effectively coordinated.
• Represent Full Circle Communities positively and professionally within the community and industry.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in property management portfolio supervision.
• Demonstrated expertise in affordable housing compliance.
• Michigan Salesperson License required.
• Strongly preferred:
  • Familiarity with MSHDA and its housing agents.
  • Experience working with the City of Detroit.
  • Background in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Coordinated Entry systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
