Research Assistant & Neurofeedback Technician 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Assistant & Neurofeedback Technician to provide both educational support and client services in the office. This role will involve assisting in the development, execution, and management of educational content and workshops, as well as providing Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, and QEEG services to clients. Responsibilities include collaborating with educators to create and edit materials, coordinating and moderating webinars, managing online learning platforms, assisting with live workshops, and delivering hands-on services to clients in-office.


Will be trained in Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, and QEEG Brain Mapping in the position (with path to licensure depending on degree)

· Administer Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, and QEEG services to clients, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to treatment protocols. Provide coaching during Biofeedback and Neurofeedback sessions as needed to ensure clients' comfort and maximize effectiveness.

· Collaborate with QEEG specialists for client reports and setting up follow-up appointments, if needed.

· Educate clients on adjunct biofeedback and Neurofeedback tools and manage and track the leasing of devices

· Prepare and maintain equipment for Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, and QEEG assessments, performing routine calibration, troubleshooting, and ensuring proper functioning of all systems.

· Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment protocols as needed under the supervision of a licensed professional. Maintain detailed records of client sessions and outcomes.

· Assist in educating clients on the process and benefits of Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, and QEEG treatments, addressing any questions or concerns to ensure informed participation in their therapy.

· Develop educational materials (e.g., PowerPoints) for physicians and mental health workshops on topics such as Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, QEEG, Psychology, and Diversity, in collaboration with PhD educators.

· Organize and manage educational workshops, including preparing materials, coordinating logistics, setting up the event space, and providing on-site support. 

§ Must be capable of lifting and transporting equipment as needed.

· Coordinate travel and accommodations for management, instructors, and the Educational Assistant, including hotel and transportation arrangements. 

§ May be eligible for company-sponsored travel to assist with off-site getaway workshops.

· Manage and maintain content on the Successful Practitioner portal, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and timely updates.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for participant inquiries, responding to questions related to courses, webinars, and educational materials.

· Issue certificates to participants upon course completion and maintain accurate certification records.

· Identify, engage, and coordinate with educators in Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, and QEEG to schedule and organize webinars.

· Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop, refine, and edit webinar presentations and course content.

· Provide technical and operational support for InMindOut webinars, including backend moderation to ensure smooth execution.

· Review, edit, and enhance recorded educational content, including webinars and course videos, to ensure clarity and engagement.

· Manage financial processes related to educational content, ensuring timely payment processing and accurate record-keeping for contributors and events.

· Oversee inventory management for biofeedback, neurofeedback, and QEEG equipment and supplies, including tracking shipments, receiving, and sending materials as needed.

· Manage and support educational interns and additional Educational assistant staff, provide updates to school and management, as needed

· Assist with sales inquiries by responding to phone and email communications in a professional and timely manner.

· Support marketing initiatives by assisting with promotional efforts, outreach, and content development.

· Monitor and ensure compliance with organizational accreditation requirements, including those for BCIA, IQCB, and APA, by tracking deadlines, paying fees, maintaining necessary documentation, and coordinating with management.

· Perform additional duties and projects assigned by the supervisor.

· Bachelor’s degree, in any related field

· Strong project management skills to coordinate events and manage multiple tasks efficiently

· Comfortable working in a high-visibility role, with the ability to represent the organization effectively

· Excellent time-management abilities, ensuring deadlines are consistently met

· Professional, approachable, and positive demeanor when interacting with colleagues, educators, and participants

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with educators, participants, and other staff

· Basic video editing skills to review and enhance recorded educational materials

· Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, to support the delivery of educational content in both languages

Proficiency in the following software and tools:

· Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Publisher, Teams, Outlook, and ChimpChamp

· Google Suite: Drive, Google Docs, Google Slides, Gmail

· ZOOM: Experience with vitual meeting and webinar platforms

· Canva: For graphic design and certificate creation

Commute and Schedule Requirements:

· Required: Valid state driver’s license

· Must be able to commute reliably to New Braunfels and San Antonio for supplies and workshops

· Must be available weekends for the workshops (approximately 3+ times per year)

· Flexible hours during workshops

Salary Description
$18 x hour
