Your Impact

As Specialist, Program Managment, you will play a key role in driving alignment, efficiency, and transparency across Newmont’s Technical Services organization. By applying program and change management best practices, you’ll help turn strategy into action—simplifying complex systems, supporting decision-making, and accelerating business value. Your work will enhance collaboration, governance, and reporting within a globally connected technical and IT environment. 

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Support the design and implementation of frameworks for project, portfolio, and change management.
  • Partner with Technical Services leadership to define scope, objectives, and success metrics for strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate governance meetings, reporting, and action tracking to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to provide proactive insights and recommendations.
  • Facilitate workshops and planning sessions that clarify priorities, align stakeholders, and foster collaboration.
  • Develop high-quality presentations and materials that bring strategic vision and project progress to life.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Management, or Project Management (Master’s or PMP/Prosci certification preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in program or project management, ideally in technical, IT, or global environments.
  • Strong understanding of change management, portfolio reporting, and governance frameworks.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort with project or data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills—able to influence across functions.
  • Strategic thinker who thrives on structure, organization, and continuous improvement.
Your Work Environment
  • You’ll join the Program Management Office within Technical Services, collaborating across global teams and functions. This is a fast-paced, hybrid environment that values problem-solving, cross-functional coordination, and creative thinking. Occasional travel may be required to support workshops or leadership sessions.
  • The preferred location for candidates is near our corporate headquarters, in Denver, Colorado. 
  • Collaboration and interaction are expected with teams across the global, regional, and site organization as well as across other service and operational areas of Newmont across multiple time zones.
  • The listed salary range applies to positions based in Colorado. Compensation may vary for candidates hired in other locations.
