Summary 

Approach each task with a solution-oriented mindset and a keen eye for detail. Includes construction, wiring, and mounting of electrical panels in diverse environments. This position will work with the Electrical team to ensure assigned work projects are completed.  

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Plan wire runs, pull wires, and terminate them at panels and electrical components in adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Install lights and various electrical components, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Fabricate and assemble brackets required for the secure mounting of electrical components, demonstrating precision and attention to detail. 
  • Construct, wire, and mount electrical panels, utilizing expertise in electrical systems and equipment.
  • Special projects may be assigned as required by the business.
  • Excellent problem solver with the ability to self-start.
  • Cleans up worksite debris. 
  • Special projects may be assigned as required by the business.

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program in electrical work or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in marine electrical work, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the field.
  • Ability to safely operate machinery.
  • Valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a security background check and DOT drug test.

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
