Job Responsibilities    
    Monthly accounting close under US GAAP    
    Ensure all liabilities are properly recorded and no inappropriate items remain.
    Analyze fluctuations in assigned P&L and balance sheet accounts.
    Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations.
    Clear historical items on the balance sheet in a timely manner.
    Verify intercompany charges and ensure appropriate supporting documentation is in place.
        
    Preparation of Japan GAAP financial statements and tax returns    
    Prepare adjusting journal entries under Japan GAAP
    Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns, including temporary and permanent differences.
    Conduct consumption tax analysis and support related filings
    Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax audits.
        
    Work closely with global accounting teams and cross-functional departments.    
    Provide accounting and tax advice to internal stakeholders regarding transaction treatment.
    Handle internal approval processes, including sealing applications.

Requirements / Qualifications    
    University degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or other related fields
    Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting or finance
    Experience with monthly and yearly closing, financial reporting, and tax filings
    Prior experience in a multinational or foreign-affiliated company is a strong advantage
    Knowledge of US GAAP and Japan GAAP
    Experience with SAP is a plus
    Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP)
    Business-level English
