Location: Portsmouth, NH - WSL is located steps from Portsmouth's Market Square and Prescott Park, behind the Strawbery Banke Museum

Rate: $20-$22/hr, with $4 shift differential on weekends

Schedule: 40hrs, Tuesday-Saturday

What You�ll Do:
As an Activities Assistant, you'll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by delivering engaging programs and building one-on-one relationships. You�ll foster a sense of purpose, connection, and community through meaningful daily interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily programs as outlined in the monthly Enrichment Calendar

• Engage residents in group programs and 1:1 settings

• Offer exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors

• Assist residents in discovering new interests and staying connected with their community

• Champion a positive, team-first attitude

What We�re Looking For:

• Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience

• Preferred:

  • Coursework or degree in a related field (e.g., recreation, human services, gerontology)

  • Experience working with seniors in a care setting.

  • Experience working with seniors with cognitive decline.

  • Background or training in fitness/exercise
