Department: Supply Chain ManagementJob Summary:
The Coordinator - Gift Department at The Breakers Hotel is responsible for managing the activities of the Gift Department to ensure the complete satisfaction of guests and internal departments. This role involves maintaining gifting procedures and standards, coordinating gift orders, tracking guest preferences, and preparing gifts for delivery or distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, networking, and computer skills, along with experience in an administrative role.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in an administrative profession
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with team members and management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and data tables) and Word (including mail merge and writing skills)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all gift orders for hotel guests and club members
- Record and execute all gift orders accurately
- Track guest preferences and trends for future reference
- Work with various departments to ensure compliance with gifting guidelines
- Report inventory needs and assist in preparing gifts and personalized cards for delivery
- Provide suggestions from the Gift Guide to meet individual guest needs
- Maintain quality standards for gifting and contribute to tracking and analyzing gift trends
