Shipping and Receiving Clerk Position Summary:

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk handles all outbound and inbound packages. This position also assures that the paperwork placed with customer orders is correct and accurate.

Shipping and Receiving clerk Position Responsibilities:

As necessary or applicable, other responsibilities may be assigned or assumed. 

Securely package all products to prevent damage in transit

  • Assure that tracking information for sent packages is retrievable
  • Visual inspection of all parts being handled
  • Assure that the proper quantity of product is sent
  • Must adhere to all customer requirements and procedures
  • Assure that shipping supply inventory items are available
  • Verify paperwork accuracy and proper part is sent using shipping checklist
  • Assist with daily critical shipping item tracking
  • Actively participate in daily production meeting to notify team of completed parts received for shipping and parts received from OSP suppliers to process
  • This position will require driving duties to deliver and retrieve products locally

Shipping and Receiving clerk Qualifications/Education:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of Global Shop software and/ERP system 
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of customer documentation requirements
  • Must be able to communicate and understand verbal/written communication in the English language.
