About the Role:
The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a productive, compliant, and positive workplace environment. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements. The manager will lead initiatives related to employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and affirmative action policies. By developing and implementing effective HR strategies and policies, the role supports workforce engagement, retention, and development. Ultimately, the Human Resources Manager ensures that the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while fostering a culture of fairness, respect, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management or HR generalist roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and affirmative action requirements.
- Proven experience in benefits administration and employee relations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional HR certification.
- Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and payroll software.
- Advanced training in labor law or employment compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing HR teams or projects.
- Working IT knowledge or experience with troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor human resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and labor regulations.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace issues, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
- Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee programs, ensuring accuracy and employee satisfaction.
- Coordinate disciplinary procedures and performance management processes to support employee development and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR operations with business objectives and support organizational change initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices to advise management and ensure risk mitigation.
