Children’s Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 60 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. This position encompasses a diverse mix of human resources functions to include providing a range of services to employees in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, and other human resource processes. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline required.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus. 
  • 4 years of human resources experience preferred; recruitment experience required.
  • Experience in a HRIS required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with different level managers.
  • Proven attention to detail, organizational skills and follow-through discipline.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Must possess a high level of confidentiality. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment including reviewing resumes, making recommendations to the recruiting team, handling denial emails and other duties as assigned. 
  • Oversee candidate interviews including scheduling interviews with candidates and managers, email and telephone communications, handling applications, calendar invites, day of interview, pre-employment testing and other duties as assigned. 
  • Oversee the staff onboarding process to include administration of paperwork including reference checks and verifications of employment for candidates.
  • Assist with recruitment vendor management including invoicing and contract negotiations for department contracts. 
  • Prepare and monitor human resource metrics as assigned.
  • Responsible for assigned HRIS system processes & data integrity. 
  • Maintain confidential personnel records.
  • Conduct I-9 documentation and E-verify process as needed.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
