Are you interested in joining a successful, expanding wealth management team? The Wealth Management Division of Frandsen Bank & Trust is seeking a qualified individual to manage and support existing client relationships and develop new ones in the Minnesota and eastern North Dakota and western Wisconsin. This position will report directly to the head of Wealth Management located in our Apple Valley office.
Job Duties
- Serve as a main point of contact for clients in the assigned office/territory
- Build relationships with clients and potential clients to obtain or retain assets in the Trust Department
- Assist in the management of current relationships including initiating and reviewing their investment portfolios
- Look for opportunities to expand the Wealth Management book of business through banking clients/outside contacts as well as external COIs
- Knowledgeable on matters related to account administration, Agency, IRA, 401(k), and trust accounts as well as financial planning
Education, Skills, and Experience
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration
- 5 years of experience in relationship management, financial planning, qualified plan administration, or investment management fields

- Basic knowledge of the Wealth Management and Trust business, including administration of Agency accounts, IRAs, 401(k), and trust accounts
- Ability to professionally interact with all levels of employees and clients

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in any one or more of the following areas: Relationship management, trust administration, financial planning, qualified plan administration or investment management. You will be responsible for managing and administering various wealth management and trust account relationships, providing an exceptional level of service to our clients.
Attributes of the successful candidate will include the ability to work independently and possess professional, personable characteristics, with strong communication, sales and service skills. CFP, CFA, or CTFA designation helpful, but not required.
Salary range for this role is $80,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on experience. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn variable compensation.
