Genesis Minerals have a newly created position for a Processing Training Advisor to support the training, competency and development of the processing/maintenance team.

Reports to the Training Coordinator providing a standardised approach to training and compliance with company training requirements.
Ensure effective operation of the training, competency, and behaviour components of the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System.
Conduct training in line with the Training Needs Analysis and relevant approvals.
Develop and maintain training packages and systems for the processing and maintenance teams.
Plan and schedule internal and external training to ensure site personnel attain the required knowledge and skills to be deemed competent for their roles.
Deliver safety training, including high-risk equipment, operational procedures, and permit-to-work programs.
Record training sessions in the Company’s Training Management System and provide training updates to relevant leaders.
Provide on-the-job safety coaching to operators and maintainers as required.
Maintain training booking records and ensure necessary training approvals are obtained.
Ensure purchasing activities are up to date to support budget requirements and engagement with external training providers.
Ensure all statutory training and competency requirements are met.
Schedule and deliver both in-field and classroom training, ensuring all tasks are completed in adherence to site work processes.
Provide mentoring support to new starters in the processing department.
Support shutdowns by delivering training, conducting VOCs (Verification of Competency), and verifying training records

We’re excited to hear from you if you have:
Current Cert IV in Training and Assessment
Driver’s License (C Class, Manual Car), minimum
Ability to produce a National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months) for site access purposes
Equipment certifications and High Risk Work Licence would be an added advantage
Cert IV WHS - desirable
3 years relevant work experience in a processing plant environment
Sound communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures
Work within tight deadlines and multiple tasks
Enthusiastic about achieving high performan goals.
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience within the Gold Mining Industry
