We are actively seeking a Sr. Security Analyst. This role is based in India.

The Senior Security Analyst is the technical lead for the integrated SOC. This role owns complex incident handling, tuning and improvements to SIEM/EDR use cases, quality of physical security monitoring, and L1 client support excellence. The senior analyst mentors the team, drives metrics and automation, and partners with IT, facilities, and product teams.

6-10 years of experience in Security operations center (SOC).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

• Well versed in functionalities of windows, Linux servers and network topologies, and Data loss prevention (DLP) tools, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and email security.
• Act as incident response expert for priority security events across cyber and physical domains; coordinate containment, eradication, recovery, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead tuning and content improvements in Exabeam (use cases, rules, parsers, dashboards) and Bitdefender policies; reduce noise and improve detection fidelity.
• Oversee vulnerability intake to remediation workflow, track SLAs and exceptions.
• Own SOC monthly dashboards and executive reporting; derive insights, trends, and improvement actions.
• Review CCTV/access anomalies, badge audit trails, and incident correlations with cyber events; drive joint investigations.
• Establish and refine SOPs/playbooks; implement automation where feasible (ticket enrichment, notifications, EDR actions).
• Support audits and certifications (ISO 27001, SOX) with control mapping, evidence, and corrective action tracking.
• Mentor analysts; run trainings, QAreviews, and mock drills (IR tabletop, physical breach scenarios).
• Coordinate change reviews for new infrastructure and product releases; perform security reviews and advisory notes.
• Partner with IT, and Product teams to close gaps.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide management-ready incident summaries.
• Serve as escalation point for client-facing L1 support tickets related to company security products.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Good to have any industry recognized cyber security related certifications like CEH, SANS GCIH, GCIA or CISSP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare various forms of reports, correspondence, and presentations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and mentor junior staff as required.
• Experience handling client-facing support tickets and managing escalations.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights/weekends/holidays.
