Description of function

• Carry out small repairs and preventively exchange parts (e.g. wearing parts , etc.) according to concrete guidelines

• Determine causes of malfunctions; create and forward descriptions of malfunctions

• Support in improving work processes

• Adjust measurement equipment

• Prepare parts/components

• Perform various activities at different work stations as required (jumper)

• Conduct quality check of work content using test plans, technical drawings, and work instructions (e.g. with regard to function, completeness, etc.), compare target/actual deviations as necessary

• Set up, change and adjust as required, testing and working equipment

• Determine and eliminate problems (e.g. tolerance deviations malfunctions, wrong parts or structure, leakage, etc.), rework per instructions and document defects and actions as required

• Determine part and material availability based on predetermined production programs, and report shortages

• Document test/measurement results

• Assemble, process and/or manually manufacture commissioned parts, preassembled components and component groups in series production with multilayered, large work content, using complex tools, auxiliary and assembly equipment and various technologies (e.g. fitting, screwing, stapling, prefixing, glue spraying, etc.), devices and machines (e.g. sewing machine, etc.)

• Eliminate/have eliminated difficult problems (e.g. process disruptions, etc.) on machinery and equipment (e.g. for tool breakage, etc.)

• Perform difficult tests/measurements on parts, using commonly-used measurement equipment and/or based on documentation

Alternative I

• Some difficult setup of machinery and equipment in series production with some preset, defined tools; according to work instructions/guidelines and documentation (e.g. setup plans, with drawings as required, etc.)

• Adjust tools according to work instructions/guidelines

• Set predetermined parameters (e.g. cutting values, etc.) according to setup plans

• Produce sample parts and have them approved; correct dimensions and cut values as necessary
