Job Title: Electrical (IACS) Technician for 2nd Shift
Summary: Assist in the safe production of quality products by troubleshooting and repairing PLC based electrical control systems for our CNC turning, drilling and grinding machines. Monitor, modify, and write PLC programs and plan the layout and wire electrical control panel and installation on industrial machinery.
Starting Wage: $30.00
We offer a 2nd shift differential of $2.50 per hour.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At ANBM, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understand and support company quality objectives.
- Trouble-shoot automated production machinery, identify root cause for trouble and repair as necessary.
- Diagnose and replace faulty electrical and electronic components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, positions, sensing devices, printed circuit boards and PLC’s.
- Safey connect power to machines and equipment, and control wires between machines and monitor equipment.
- Replace damaged sensors.
- Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
- Test motor insulation.
- Maintain interior and exterior lighting systems
