Description
Provide strategic leadership and direct oversight to the Consultation Coordinators and departmental staff, ensuring clear work direction, guidance, and support. Lead the Consultation Coordinator team in alignment with provider and program standards as outlined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, the Minnesota Legislature, and applicable State and County contracts.
Utilize process improvement methodologies to strengthen Lifeworks Self-Directed and 256B licensed services, with a focus on enhancing program compliance, customer satisfaction, participant engagement, and financial performance.

Hours: Full-time 40hours/week, Monday – Friday (Exempt)
Location: Richfield, MN
Compensation: $60,000 - $67,000
Bonus Eligible: Yearly

- Have experience with Self-Directed and In- Home service programs such as Community First Services and Supports (CFSS), Consultation Services, Consumer Directed Community Services (CDCS), Consumer Support Grant (CSG), PCA Choice and 245D Basic Services preferred.
- Must pass a background study with the Department of Human Services, a drug test, clean driving record and have reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes (e.g., in-office, on-site training locations, etc.).
How you’ll be spending your time:
- Providing supervision and oversight to assigned staff, including performance management, work direction, coaching, training, and ongoing guidance. Collaborating with the Program Leadership team to uphold Lifeworks quality standards, procedural expectations, day-to-day work assignments and staffing adjustments.
- Leading and supporting the In-Home service team by establishing and monitoring key performance indicators, including program compliance, customer satisfaction, issue resolution timelines, call productivity, and administrative efficiency. Contributing to the recruitment, selection, development, and engagement of team members. Tracking and reporting quality metrics aligned with Lifeworks strategic business objectives.
- Defining and ensuring compliance with rules, regulations, and government contracts for assigned service lines. Working in partnership with the Program Leadership team, maintaining Lifeworks standards and operational consistency across daily tasks and staffing.
- Serving as a subject matter expert across all Lifeworks service offerings, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of service structures and access pathways. Providing mentorship to individuals across the organization seeking to better understand the Self-Directed and In-Home service lines and the broader competitive landscape. Communicating service line priorities to the coordinator team and supporting communications efforts of the In-Home Leadership team.
- Adhering to safety procedures and actively contributing to identifying and addressing safety needs for self and others.
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human service field or related field with one year experience working directly with people with a disability or, two-year degree in a human service field and one year experience working directly with people with a disability.
- Customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
