Contingent Worker

As an Systems Engineer you will be working on the infrastructure, including but not limited to Servers, Backup, DB, Storage, Cloud and so on to deploy, administer and manage the environments by following the ITIL process for incident, change and request management.  Participate in Daily management meetings, leading on a rotational schedule, lead and execute projects by prioritization and listening to customer’s requests driving continuous improvement.

Your attention to details will help you expand your knowledge and resolve support requests in a timely manner.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Infrastructure lifecycle management for cloud as well as on-premise environment.
• Backup & Retention for servers, file shares, etc
• Management of cloud objects on Azure- Entra ID, Exchange, DNS
• Create and run automation scripts
• Handle tasks independently or with minimal input with low to mid risk.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO:

• Must have experience in Windows server management on Windows server OS.
• Must have experience with VMWare and Nutanix.
• Must have experience in handling technical issues with ADUC, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS, File share(MS domain services)
• Must have experience with Powershell, MG Graph, Exchange & Entra connect automation.
• Must have experience with  backup, archival & replication.
• Must have problem solving ability, identify process gaps, perform RCAs and recommend remediation plans
• Experienced with networking concepts like IP subnets, vLAN and should be able to identify/isolate network issues.
• Can work in a team as well as independently while taking complete ownership.
• Manage stakeholders including adjacent teams and business owners.

YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

• Any graduation degree.
• Relevant Infrastructure server management experience of minimum 6 years.
• Proficient with ITSM concepts like Incident, Change & Request management.
• Proficient in documentation and creating/maintaining knowledge base articles.

IF YOU HAVE THE BELOW EXPERIENCE IT’S A PLUS:

• Certificate management such as SSL
• Knowledge on tools like Lansweeper, Tenable, SCOM, Windows Defender, Splunk
• Understanding of basic SQL DB functionalities
