IT Program Analyst (Hybrid) presso Eversource

Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.

This role plays a critical role in the Innovation & Emerging Technology group, blending strong program coordination with business analysis to support innovation pilots, enterprise modernization, and digital transformation. This role ensures operational visibility, stakeholder alignment, and value-focused delivery by organizing workstreams and translating complex needs into clear, actionable insights.

The ideal candidate is structured yet adaptive, excels at both detail management and cross-functional engagement, and can navigate both agile and traditional delivery environments

Essential Functions: 

• Maintain a single source of truth for scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues across initiatives.
• Track action items and unblock teams by coordinating with product, engineering, data, cyber, and business stakeholders.
• Run the intake pipeline: collect business cases, clarify problem statements, validate success criteria, and prep candidates for governance review.
• Gather functional and non-functional requirements for pilots and projects.
• Support prioritization using transparent criteria (value, risk, readiness, dependency complexity); keep the backlog clean and decision-ready.
• Build and maintain dashboards for schedule, scope, budget, risk, and value realization (e.g., adoption, cycle time, lead time).
• Transform operational data into insights: trend analysis, variance analysis, and “early-warning” signals for escalations.
• Create concise executive summaries and governance packs (status, decisions, KPIs).
• Maintain risk/issue registers with clear owners, mitigation plans, and dates.
• Track SOWs, deliverables, and acceptance criteria; reconcile invoices to milestones.
• Support simple budget tracking and forecast updates, flag variances and options.
• Run RFPs and RFIs as necessary within the Innovation Group and Real Time System

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

•     Previous experience working in team environments, as well as supporting process improvements and group facilitation.

Education:    

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required                      

Experience:  

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience is required, including:
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with presentations and delivering messages to all levels of the organization.
  • Gathering requirements and scope for projects and aligning to delivery timeline.
  • Tracking project financial strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with large, complex multi-year projects.

Working Conditions:

• Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
• Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

$85,320.00-$94,800.00
