Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Procedure Writer with experience in creating and implementing LOTO procedures using Brady Link 360 software. This role involves developing standardized LOTO protocols that ensure compliance with MIOSHA standards and enhance the safety of our workplace. The successful candidate will work closely with our EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) and Maintenance teams to develop, document, and maintain LOTO procedures for all relevant machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- LOTO Procedure Development: Use Brady Link 360 software to create clear, accurate, and effective LOTO procedures for various types of machinery and equipment across the facility.
- Data Collection & Documentation: Work with our maintenance team to identify all hazardous energy sources, compile equipment-specific data, and ensure accurate documentation of energy isolation points for each piece of equipment.
- Compliance & Safety Standards: Ensure all LOTO procedures align with MIOSHA standards and industry best practices, maintaining compliance and safety as a priority.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with maintenance to ensure all procedures are fully understood and correctly implemented.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Should have good mechanical skills and be computer proficient. Experience in developing LOTO procedures, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Brady Link 360 software is preferred, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and database management.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of MIOSHA standards, particularly (Control of Hazardous Energy) and industry safety practices.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in documenting LOTO procedures.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Additional Software Skills: Experience with other EHS or maintenance management software is beneficial.
