About the Department

Expected starting salary is $30.99 to $41.38. Full Salary is $30.99 to $51.76

Associate's degree in human services, corrections or related field and two (2) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.
OR
A combination of education and experience equivalent to four (4) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.
 
Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary component of job/position. Individuals required to use County vehicles and equipment must have a valid driver's license and be free of any major traffic violations for the last three (3) years.

Position Duties

Under supervision, provides support to social workers, probation officers and various other internal clients in providing services. Assists and refers outside clients who need specific services in finding resources, monitors completion of court-ordered conditions, and assists in the case management process. Supports a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Provides support and assistance to probation officers
  • Enters intake and case data in databases
  • Greets clients/citizens at reception area and offers related assistance
  • Works closely with Court Administration and Judiciary to facilitate the court and sentencing process
  • Coordinates and participates in the juvenile diversion program
  • Enrolls clients in Telephone Reporting System
  • Meets with juvenile and adult offenders to enroll them in and determine Community Work Service work site
  • Assists with the collaborative case management process
  • Monitors some adult and juvenile probation files to determine compliance with court orders
  • Maintains office supply inventory and facilitates re-orders
  • Represents the organization at meetings and outreach activities
  • Performs related duties as assigned
