ROLE OVERVIEW

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Location: Nord Anglia International School Dublin
Working Pattern:
Onsite during training and onboarding (up to 6 months)
A hybrid working pattern can be facilitated thereafter
Are you an experienced, detail-driven finance professional ready to take the next step in your career? Nord Anglia International School Dublin is looking for a proactive and efficient Accounts Payable Assistant to join our dynamic finance team.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing of our Accounts Payable function. From managing supplier invoices to preparing reconciliations and supporting our busy finance department, you’ll help maintain accurate financial records and provide responsive support to internal and external stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Process supplier invoices and payment runs
Generate purchase orders and purchase invoices in Business Central (BC)
Manage FX adjustments and vendor account maintenance
Perform weekly/monthly bank reconciliations
Assist with journals and purchase ledger to reconcile with Group accounts
Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve queries
Support both Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
General admin duties and document organisation
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Minimum 18–24 months’ experience in a similar AP role
Accounting Technician qualification or part-qualified Accountant
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Confident using Excel, Outlook, Navision BC, iSAMS
Motivated team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
Experience working in fast-paced or start-up environments is a plus
