  • Supervise eligibility operations across assigned facilities in the San Diego area and surrounding regions (including Long Beach, Glendale, Northridge, and San Bernardino as needed).
  • Monitor, evaluate, and drive the progression of healthcare receivable accounts through the eligibility process — from patient screenings and documentation facilitation to healthcare coverage determination.
  • Lead and motivate a team to meet productivity and quality goals, ensuring a high standard of service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Audit accounts for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with facility staff, patients, and government agencies to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Manage performance and provide coaching, feedback, and disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Uphold GetixHealth’s values, policies, and compliance standards while driving team success.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of medical customer service and/or supervisory experience (3–4 years preferred).

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop a team.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a flexible schedule.

  • Must maintain confidentiality and display professionalism at all times.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Work Environment:

  • Office and hospital settings; requires flexibility for 7-day availability.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds with or without accommodation.

  • Frequent travel to assigned facilities in Southern California.
