Carolina QuickCare, part of the Rock Oak family, delivers high‑quality walk‑in urgent care across North Carolina. Our clinics are run by clinicians, for clinicians, offering autonomy, support, and a work‑life balance that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Schedule & Work‑Life Balance

  • Full‑time providers work three 12‑hour shifts per week, with no on‑call obligations.

  • Clinics are open Monday through Saturday, 8 am–8 pm, and Sunday, 9 am–6 pm; schedules rotate to share weekend coverage.

  • Enjoy four days off every week to spend time with family or pursue personal interests.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: Hourly pay range of $55–$75 (about $103,000–$140,000 per year for a full‑time schedule). In addition to the hourly rate, productivity incentives reward clinicians for high-quality care and efficient clinic operations. Signing and relocation bonuses may be available for high‑priority clinics.

  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, company‑paid malpractice insurance, and flexible spending options. We offer a generous HSA contribution match to help you build a tax‑advantaged healthcare fund.

  • Financial Security: 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and disability coverage.

  • Student Loan Assistance: Student loan repayment assistance is available to eligible full-time and part-time providers.

  • Professional Growth: Paid time off and holidays, a continuing‑education allowance, and paid licensure/DEA renewal.

  • Culture: A supportive, family‑like environment where providers have a voice in operations and opportunities to grow into leadership roles.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive urgent‑care services to patients of all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up.

  • Perform common procedures, including laceration repair, wound care, abscess drainage, splinting, and minor orthopedic reductions.

  • Order and interpret diagnostics (lab work, imaging) and prescribe medications appropriately.

  • Educate patients and their families on diagnoses and treatment plans, ensuring clear and concise discharge instructions.

  • Complete documentation in the EMR on the day of service and collaborate with clinic staff to maintain efficient patient flow.

What You Bring

  • Licensure: Active North Carolina Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and national certification (FNP‑C or PA‑C).

  • Active DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certifications.

  • Minimum one year of urgent‑care, emergency‑medicine, or primary‑care experience preferred; new graduates may be considered for select clinics with proper training and mentorship.

  • DOT Medical Examiner certification is a plus.

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and comfortable managing 3–4 patients per hour.

  • Strong communication skills and a patient‑first mindset.
