JOB POSITION

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Senior Software Engineer.
• The associate is responsible for guiding a team toward achieving performance goals while fostering a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented work environment.
• This role combines operational oversight with people management, ensuring both project success and employee development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
• Create responsive UI components using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
•  Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QA teams
•  Optimize application performance and scalability
•  Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews
•  Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
•  Ensure application security and data protection best practices

QUALIFICATION

• BE, MCA or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

EXPERIENCE

• Around 5 to 8 years of experience in Java with leadership capabilities.
• 3+ years of experience in Java development (Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (v8+ preferred)

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES   

•   Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
•   Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
•   Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
•   Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma)
