YOUR DAY TO DAY:


We are seeking a skilled and dependable Materials Handler to support our manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong background in warehouse and material handling processes, with the ability to work independently, handle complex material transactions, and support production with accuracy and efficiency.

 

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

 

  • Safely load, unload, move, and stage raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Accurately issue, receive, and record materials in the ERP/MRP system.
  • Perform routine and advanced material handling tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and assists in resolving discrepancies.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure continuous production support.
  • Ensure proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, labeling, and cleanliness for safe, efficient operations.
  • Provide support and guidance to new or less experienced material handlers when needed.

 

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in material handling experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous forklift certification. 
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP or inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Solid knowledge of material planning, control and inventory methodology and applies it to a wide range of tasks
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written including presentation skills
  • Solid customer service skills
  • Solid collaboration skills
  • Solid knowledge of Government Customer Property Control
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with JDE a strong plus.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

 

Salary Range $19.00 - $21.00 / hour
