We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Specialist to join our Contract Services team within Group Legal & Risk for a 14-month parental leave cover in our Brisbane-based Head Office. This role is key to managing the contracting process efficiently, effectively, and compliantly—supporting registrations, sales, and settlements while delivering a great experience to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll manage the end-to-end contracting process—from preparing and lodging plans and registrations, to drafting and executing contracts and related documents. You’ll ensure settlements run smoothly by creating settlement statements, managing financial reconciliations, and working across systems like PEXA. You’ll also support ongoing contract management, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reporting. Staying up to date with compliance requirements and participating in regular training will be key to your success.
About You
Experience & Skills That Count:
- Licensed Conveyancer or Lawyer (Preferred)
- Knowledge of real estate development and titles office registration requirements (Preferred)
- Experience using PEXA, DocuSign, SharePoint, and Salesforce (Desirable)
- Strong understanding of contract management and transaction processing
- Ability to manage compliance and risk across contract workflows
