We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Skipper to join our team. If you’re passionate about working on the water and have hands-on experience in commercial fishing or aquaculture, we’d love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to Skipper one of the most versatile vessels in our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate vessels safely and efficiently in support of aquaculture operations
- Perform mooring maintenance, collar cleaning, and removal and replacement of fish nets
- Undertake heavy works activities as required at our sites across South East Tasmania
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Requirements:
- Master 24 & MED 2 (essential)
- Proven experience in commercial fishing or aquaculture
- Strong understanding of marine safety procedures
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in varying conditions
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Additional marine qualifications or tickets
- Experience with aquaculture infrastructure and equipment
