Mechanic - 7 presso CARDINAL CIVIL CONTRACTING LLC

Description

1. Drive to job sites and inspect Excavators, trucks, bulldozers and other heavy equipment for proper performance. 
2. Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment.
3. Adjust equipment and replace and/or repair faulty parts as necessary to maintain optimal equipment performance.
4. Clean and service machine attachments such as winches, blades, and side booms.
5. Perform major repair work as necessary.
6. Report damaged or faulty equipment to Management.

Qualifications

PAY FOR THIS JOB IS COMPETITIVE AND IS BONUS ELIGIBLE

1. Must have a clean driving record
2. Experience with CAT, Komatsu and John Deere equipment a plus
3. Must be a self starter and able to work independently
4. Good organizational and communication skills are a must.
5. Must have hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience.
6. Working knowledge of tier 4 final emissions on diesel engines and other equipment.
7. Preferred consideration given to individuals with paving equipment repair experience.
8. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
9. Must be able to work alternate Saturday schedule.
