Description
Human Support Services is seeking to add a full-time Clinical Supervisor, to our premier team of mental health professionals to provide mental health treatment in Monroe County, IL.

The Clinical Supervisor is directly responsible for the planning and delivery of outpatient mental health treatment services, and supervising Clinical staff as assigned.
POSITION DUTIES:
The Clinical Supervisor has the primary responsibility for the overall delivery of community-based mental health services, and provides the required individual and/or group supervision consistent with the regulatory board requirements.
- Oversees the Individual Placement Services (IPS) program as the direct supervisor for IPS Employment Specialist staff, providing weekly staff meetings, managing all program deliverables and ensuring success of the IPS program by supporting staff through program deliverables.
- Supporting and problem solving with clinical staff to ensure they are meeting productivity expectations, and submitting documentation to meet all deadlines.
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision to licensed/unlicensed therapists.
- Review documentation of Clinical staff to ensure such meets expectations of HSS and all funder sources as applicable for client care including HFS, Medicaid, MCO’s, SUPR, 3rd party insurance and self-pay clients.
- Oversee Performance and Quality Improvement Plans and participate in discussion regarding program goals, data collection and/or analysis.
- Utilize Recovery Oriented Services and Trauma Informed Care in recognizing the presence of trauma symptoms and acknowledge the role that trauma has played in the lives of the clients/residents. Including but not limited to promoting best Clinical practices during Clinical staffing and supervision as well as when providing direct care for clients.
- Collaborate with various external professionals including school personnel, community partners, DCFS, DMH, attorneys, etc., in partnership with Clinical Director.
- Participate in internal and external multidisciplinary case review meetings, including but not limited to weekly clinical meetings and monthly prescriber staffings.
- Create an atmosphere of enthusiasm and energetic commitment and serve as a role model in carrying out the Mission of HSS.
- Promote and support the attitudes, behaviors, knowledge and skills necessary to work respectfully and effectively with each other as well as demonstrate the ability to address the needs of our clients.
- Attend all required mental health meetings (internal/external), in-service training's, and supervision.
- Complete performance evaluations for assigned staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Behavioral Health Services.
Requirements
- Current Illinois LCSW/LCPC
- 2 years of clinical experience
- 2 years of supervisor/management experience
- Must maintain current license, and successful completion of a MA/MS/MSW degree in a human services field.
- Ability to supervise
- Trained and or certified in MAP, TF-CBT, and or PCIT highly preferred.
- Quality assurance experience with the DMH documentation/standards.
- Possession of a valid Illinois driver’s license.
- Extensive experience in and commitment to a community mental health model.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
Must have personal transportation and valid driver’s license in order to move to and from assigned locations. Have normal hearing and eyesight or corrective appliances which would allow for normal hearing and eyesight in order to relate to clients. Have the strength and agility to climb stairs and move around crowded areas. Have clarity of speech in order to make yourself understood by clients and others.
