About the role
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you’ll work closely with the Engineering Team Lead to deliver a high-quality engineering service that supports operational targets. You’ll be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance across a wide range of assets, ensuring our equipment runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
This is a role with real impact, where you’ll be at the heart of keeping our drinks flowing smoothly from production to shelf.
The daily tasks of a Multi Skilled Engineer at Refresco:
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, and basic control & instrumentation fault-finding, repairs and servicing
- Support operational KPIs across Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost
- Deliver PPM activities and corrective actions across the site
- Maintain statutory and company standards, including Health & Safety, GMP, and HACCP compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant performance and reduce waste
- Contribute to root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to share knowledge and best practice
About you
- A qualified Mechanical and Electrical Engineer (NVQ level or equivalent), ideally with 2+ years’ FMCG experience
- Skilled in both reactive and planned maintenance with fault-finding ability across multiple equipment groups
- Knowledge of safe operating procedures, GMP, HACCP and health & safety standards
- A team player with excellent problem-solving ability, a proactive approach, and a positive outlook
- IT literate and comfortable using CMMS/SAP systems
- Passionate about delivering engineering excellence and keen to develop further within Refresco
