Our HNI Workplace Furnishings team in Muscatine, IA is actively looking for a Maintenance
Technician to fill a 3rd shift opportunity.
As part of our team, you’ll dive into a dynamic maintenance technician role where you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs related to production equipment, plant facilities, and environmental systems.

What your day looks like:
- Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production, building and any specialized equipment involving:
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Power Transmission, Lubrication, and Pumps
- Instrument/Vision Systems (Repair, Install, and Troubleshoot)
- Piping and Plumbing
- Basic Electrical
- Building Maintenance
- Mechanical Operations
- Motors, Automation and Robotics (Maintain and Repair)
Your qualifications:
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or military setting
Education and/or Required Training:
- No prior education or training required
Requirements:
- Pass pre-employment drug testing
- Pass a 7-year criminal background check
- High school diploma or GED is not required
