Overview:

The Sr Project Manager (“PM”) leads SB Energy’s utility-scale solar photovoltaic (“PV”) and Battery Energy Storage System (“BESS”) projects through late-stage development and pre-construction, ensuring each project is fully ready for construction mobilization and has successfully closed the initial project financing. This role bridges development and execution by driving permitting, finalizing site control, establishing relationships with stakeholder and authorities having jurisdiction, contracting, engineering, and financial close activities, then handing the project off to the PM responsible for the full build-out.

The PM is responsible for the project budget, schedule, risk management, and cross-functional coordination during this critical stage. The PM is expected to be the principal decision maker in all aspects during the phase.

At SB Energy our values are more than words on a page—they are the foundation for how we operate, make decisions, and measure success. As a Senior PM, you are not just responsible for driving business outcomes but also for embodying and reinforcing our culture.

A Senior PM is a culture champion, both within and outside of the organization. You lead with an ownership mindset, ensuring that challenges are met with solutions. You take initiative in fostering connection—whether by being the first to check in on a colleague, or showing up fully engaged to meetings and being a magnanimous leader.

Beyond driving project success, you cultivate a thriving team environment by welcoming diverse perspectives, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that every voice is heard. Most importantly, you pursue our mission with joy—approaching each challenge with resilience and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
