Fitter Stitcher Cirque presso Treasure Island Las Vegas

Applicant Will:

• Assist in the maintenance of show costumes as a fitter shoes and headpieces.
• Assist in the deployment of show costumes
• Assist craft technicians with delegated work for stock.
• Along with team members, applicant will help to maintain superior overall look set by Montreal.

Participate in a continued positive team environment in the wardrobe department.

Applicant Must:

• Be skillful in mold making, casting, and working with heat-activated composite materials. The ability to sculpt is a plus.
• Be adept in pattern drafting/grading, cutting and construction.
• Be able to operate industrial sewing machines, i.e. straight/zig zag and over lock machines, as well as hand sewing.
• Be comfortable working with a variety of fabrics and materials to include Lycia and latex.
• Be proficient in airbrush painting and the use of latex painting.
• Be capable of dyeing fabric and hair. General knowledge of stage makeup, hair/wigs is helpful.
• Be able to prioritize and meet deadlines, field show emergencies, and problem solve.
• Have the ability to coordinate and assist costume related pieces for use in promotions.

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fitter and Craft Technician or related experience.
• Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and posses strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer knowledge required, i.e. Word and Excel spreadsheets.
